The point of the initiative in LA is that the law currently states that smoking is prohibited in all workplaces for the health of the employees EXCEPT bars, casinos, and restaurants.

Now we are smoking and the health dept finally gave up trying to enforce the unenforcible!

Prohibition didnt work before and it isnt going to work now.

If you want smokefree then do it just understand most bars customer base is smokers! A bar isnt a health club, its a bar where grown ups partake of freedom and enjoyment with other like minded adults.

I say it with passion non-smoking bars are a bankruptcy waiting to happen and in this economy why cut your own throat!

stupidty factor is way up there for these folks!
