Last year's Rising Tide covered politics, police and racial tensions, the Macondo well blowout, the Louisiana levee system and the first year series of Treme. Way good enough for me to pack my bag again and head here from Boston.

I had the pleasure of traveling from NW Arkansas to attend Rising Tide last year. I'm so glad I did as the presentations helped bring some closure to my experiences during Katrina as well as separating facts from emotions in the media's coverage of this unnatural disaster.
