In the latest Hollyweird South news (aside from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds — who totally fell in love while filming Green Lantern here — getting secretly married this weekend), the sexy New Orleans bar/restaurant from Magic Mike star Channing Tatum called Saints and Sinners will open within the first two weeks of October. The restaurant is located on 627 Bourbon St., just "stumbling/staggering distance" (as every media outlet is saying) from Pat O'Brien's for all you French Quarter glug-glugs.…

Yesterday the Associated Press reported William “Billy” Bretherton from the A&E reality series Billy the Exterminator, which is set in Benton, La., was arrested for doing the silliest thing ever — being in possession of fake weed, aka Mojo (the proto-bath salts, which you may have seen in the news lately). It seems personalities from Louisiana-based reality TV shows have a knack for getting into trouble.…

Something called Bad Girls Boot Camp is happening in Kenner

The Times-Picayune reports a show called Bad Girls Boot Camp is being filmed for the Oxygen network in the former residence of ex-New Orleans Hornets coach Byron Scott, and neighbors are upset!…

New Orleans gets more reality TV (as if we need it)
