All Shook Up at Le Petit Theater
Perhaps it's harmonic convergence. Shakespeare's Twelfth Night is in vogue. Not too long ago it was staged as a drinking game at One Eyed Jacks and now as the basis of a '50s-era rock musical. Jefferson Performing Arts Society staged a production in the fall. Now Le Petit Theatre takes a spin as a guitar-slinging, leather jacket-clad stranger arrives in a small middle-American town and wins the heart of a local gal. Gary Rucker directs Idella Johnson, Joan Spraggins, Joshua Peterson, Keith Claverie, Lisa Picone, P.J. McKinnie and a large cast. Tickets $35 general admission, $30 students. — Will Coviello
