Meet the real-life Spinal Tap: Anvil. The not quite forgotten Canadian heavy metal band, anchored by lifelong pals Steve "Lips" Ludlow and Robb Reiner, rose to near fame in the mid-1980s with over-the-top riff rock and arena tours, but slunk to careers headlining (or not) sports bars, weddings and part-time jobs. The band's attempted world tour was documented in 2008's Anvil! The Story of Anvil. Tickets $20.
