Blue Man Group: How to Be a Megastar Tour 2.1

In the 20 years since its inception, the former caterers of the performance squad Blue Man Group have evolved from banging pots and throwing paint in the experimental theater spaces of downtown New York City to a sprawling array of dramatic activities that practically rival the Cirque du Soleil empire. Mute, wearing bald caps and painted blue, the members of the troupe perform a messy, percussive, satirical clown act that they've brought to venues from Las Vegas to Tokyo. The latest incarnation of the show takes on the construct of rock 'n' roll, skewering and celebrating the myth of rock stardom with a 100-minute, family-friendly interactive lesson on how to create the perfect rock concert experience. Tickets $49.50. — Alison Fensterstock 7:30 p.m. Tue., March 18
