Governor Jindal to the White House?

Governor opens door to pursuing 2016 presidential bid

Even as Gov. Bobby Jindal has evinced an obvious desire for some sort of job in Washington, D.C., he's denied having his eye on the White House. "I've got the job I want," the Louisiana governor has said. Now that message has changed: "I don't know if I'm going to run for president or not," Jindal told Politico on Oct. 16. In the meantime, Jindal is launching a 501(c)(4) nonprofit called "America Next" to "play offense in the war of ideas," he told Politico. "We've got to get past the bumper-sticker slogans." — KEVIN ALLMAN
