**Book launch with Beverly Bell and Patrice Florvilus, Haitian human rights lawyer** Join us for a release of New Orleans native Beverly Bell's new book! Fault Lines, a searing account of the first year after the Haitian earthquake that explores how strong communities and an age-old gift culture have helped Haitians survive in the wake of an unimaginable disaster. Beverly Bell, the author, runs the New Orleans-based economic and social justice group Other Worlds. Patrice Florvilus has been organizing with people still living in the tent camps 3.5 years after the massive 2010 earthquake.
