employees of local Lowe's stores, organized a charity motorcycle ride that recently provided Christmas toys for 80 children. Goods were collected at 10 Lowe's stores and on Dec. 19 a group of 30 motorcycles escorted a delivery van full of clothing, bikes and other items. The Louisiana-style sleigh ride began in New Orleans and traveled to individual stores in Jefferson, Thibodeaux and Houma before ending in Harvey, stopping at individual stores to drop off the toys and a little Christmas cheer.
