Brass bands gather for the second annual Silence is Violence Brass Off to benefit the Dinerral Shavers Education Fund. In honor of its founding member, the Hot 8 Brass Band (pictured) tops the bill and is joined by the Rebirth, Soul Rebels, Free Agents, Stooges and TBC brass bands as well as Shamarr Allen and other guests. Tickets $15.
