The Empire Bar is an elegant place to sip bartender Paul Gustings' Improved Pimm's cup and sample the Creole-French cuisine prepared by Broussard's Restaurant. Nods to Napoleon dot the cocktail menu (the Napoleon Complex is popular), while an adjoining courtyard provides a view of the French Quarter rarely seen from the street. Open daily. No smoking. Full restaurant menu. Happy hour 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Mon.-Fri.
