Carrie's Facts of Life

With the prom fast approaching, Running With Scissors has found yet another match made in heaven — or hell. The excruciatingly shy daughter of a religious fanatic, Carrie needed a kinder, gentler high-school experience " the type that could have been provided at the Eastlake School on Facts of Life, where network standards kept Blair, Tootie, Jo and Natalie from hazing new girls in the gym showers. In this revamped rerun, the girls really are learning the facts of life as they search for prom dates and question their true feelings for one another. Mrs. Garrett (Bob Edes Jr.) wants all the girls to have a great night but needs to keep Carrie (Brad Caldwell, pictured) from getting medieval on it. Schoolgirl-uniform fans can feast their eyes on the familiar cast of Jo (Travis Acosta), Tootie (Donald Lewis), Blair (Dorian Rush), Natalie (Lisa Picone) and Jack Long as Principal Morton. Opening night is a fundraiser for the Mystic Krewe of Satyricon. Call 525-4498 for tickets to that show only. Tickets $20. "—Will Coviello 7 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Oct. 5-6; 5 p.m. Sun., Oct. 7; through Oct. 21
