The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents a bluesy barbecue in the CBD. Buddy Guy (pictured), Bobby Rush, Irma Thomas, Sonny Landreth and T-Model Ford perform alongside a raft of ribs and brisket vendors. A concert by Richie Havens (8:30 p.m. Friday, Howlin' Wolf; tickets $20) and a lecture by ethnomusicologist Charles Keil (7 p.m. Monday, Jazz & Heritage Center) bookend the festivities. Free admission.
