Crime Forum Jan. 18

Touro Synagogue and the New Orleans Crime Coalition will co-host a crime forum at Touro Synagogue, 4238 St. Charles Ave., at 7 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 18), featuring presentations by NOPD Chief Ronal Serpas and DA Leon Cannizzaro. The program is free and open to the general public.

Officials at Touro say they hope the program will be the first in a series of public crime information programs to be hosted at the synagogue. Tuesday's forum will be moderated by Michael Cowan, one of the leaders of Common Good, an umbrella group for many local charitable institutions, and will include time for questions from the audience. — Clancy DuBos
