Dominique's on Magazine 

Dominique Macquet has opened Dominique's on Magazine (4729 Magazine St., 894-8881; Macquet, who ran Dominique's at the Maison Dupuy Hotel for 12 years until 2008, has partnered with former Emeril's Restaurant manager Mauricio Andrade for this new venture, which is housed in a renovated double shotgun. Dishes range from shrimp ceviche and sweetbreads with chimichurri to chicken fried in duck fat, roasted leg of lamb and sauteed soft-shell crabs with lemongrass. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday. — Ian McNulty
