edible New Orleans

The quarterly food magazine edible New Orleans made its publishing debut earlier this month. A part of the edible Communities network, the free magazine highlights local food news, farmers, chefs, restaurants and traditions as well as pushing an "eat local" agenda. Owner/publisher Rachel Arons says the magazine highlights New Orleans culinary traditions and aims to promote sustainablility. Readers can find the magazine at coffee shops, restaurants and bookstores or visit its Web site (www.edibleneworleans.com).

The Edible Communities network includes more than 60 cities nationwide. Each publication is locally owned and operated. — Alex Woodward
