Award-winning writer and NPR commentator Ellen Gilchrist reads from and discusses her work at the Ogden's Southern Storyteller series. Gilchrist is best known as a short-story writer for the collections In the Land of Dreamy Dreams (1981) and Victory Over Japan (1984). In 2008, she published A Dangerous Age, a novel about a Southern family polarized by a death during the 9/11 attacks. Tickets $10, free admission for Ogden members.
