Fleur de Glee

The fleur de lis, a symbol of French royalty, has been an emblem for New Orleans for decades, and post-Katrina, more and more people are displaying it as a testament to their love for the city.

This unique 8-by-10-inch "Craw de Lis' print by artist Daniel J. Rhodes depicts a crawfish in the shape of a fleur de lis; $5 of each sale is donated to Habitat for Humanity. The signed and numbered prints cost $25 and are available exclusively at The Crabnet (925 Decatur St., 522-3478; www.thecrabnet.com).
Designer Lee Allison designed this line of silk ties exclusively for Aidan Gill for Men (2026 Magazine St., 587-9090; www.aidangillformen.com) It has gold fleur de lis on a sky-blue background (they also are available in black or red with silver and gold fleur de lis or navy with silver or gold fleur de lis), $90.
Northshore jewelry designer Anne Dale has a new line of rings that feature a fleur de lis in the center and the words "Return to New Orleans, Louisiana" around the rectangular ring face, $69.95 for women's sterling silver; $299 for 14-karat gold (there also are versions for men). A portion of the proceeds benefit those affected by Hurricane Katrina. The rings are available at Anne Dale Jeweller (12 St. Anne Drive, Mandeville, 985-626-4266; www.annedale.com).
