Red Wattle and Tamworth pigs pasture-raised at Home Place Pastures in Mississippi are featured in a seven-course meal served family style. Dishes include charcuterie, arugula salad with cured pork belly, pork shoulder ravioli, pig ear ragout, smoked pork loin and Champagne sorbet with pig fat shortbread cookies. Wine is included. The meal costs $75 excluding tax and tip.

Indian Summers

WYES and the Indian Arts Council host a screening of Indian Summers, plus henna painting, a talk by author Robert Arnett and presentations about Indian dining and drinking customs. Taj Mahal and Nirvana Indian Cuisine serve vegetable samosas and pakoras and chai tea, and Silk Road offers lemon grass crab bisque, chicken vindaloo and basmati rice. The dinner features mojitos, an appetizer of sorullitos de maiz bolitas de queso y tostones (corn roll-ups with cheese and plantains), salad, chicken and vegetable soup, meat and seafood paella, garlic bread and flan. Tickets $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
