Wine Finds

Pennsylvania-based wine importer Peter Weygandt is always on the lookout for wines from small producers who use natural viticulture methods. On Tuesday, April 21, he'll pour six examples of such finds from France for a tasting at Swirl Wines (3143 Ponce de Leon St., 403-0635; Crescent City Brewhouse will provide appetizers. The event begins at 6:30 p.m., the cost is $10 per person and reservations are required.

Chicken on the Run

Fiorella's Café (1136 Decatur St., 553-2155) has opened a spinoff focusing on its most popular dish, fried chicken. The menu at Fiorella's Famous Fried Chicken (620 Conti St., 565-3006) features fried chicken, roasted chicken and biscuits, plus side dishes and a few additional items like fried shrimp and chicken livers. Get the chicken in 10- or 12-piece boxes as dinners with sides. There is also a full bar.
