Gentleman's Quarters 

Bleached floors, Benjamin Moore Decorator's White and linen curtains brighten the sitting room. Smith combined a baroque desk with antique bergeres and a painting by Alice Costa. The lantern fixture and the yellow pillows are from Shaun Smith Home.

Georgia craftsman George Williams made the table with weathered wood found in a hay field. The painting on the left, one of a series of panels removed from Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre when it closed, was found at a Bywater thrift store and is one of Smith's favorite pieces of art. Smith covered the Louis Philippe chairs with a robin's egg blue velvet.
Tobacco-colored, vein-cut quartzite and an antiqued mirrored backsplash visually expand the narrow Kitchen. The gray ceramic floor has a warp and weft pattern that resembles fabric or paper. The fluted, tulip-shaped chandelier is made of Lucite and is from the art deco period.
Leather boxes by hermes top an antiqued mirrored chest in the guest room. The vintage, unsigned painting was found at Perch.

Smith painted the bedroom with Benjamin Moore's Black Panther and had the drapes made from a fabric that reminded him of men's suiting. Room & Board's Architecture Bed echoes the lines of the window and is dressed with an Hermes blanket. The bench with cloven hooves was found in Jackson, Miss., and the vintage glass lamps were thrift store finds. The Ibex heads and mirror are from Shaun Smith Home. the chair was a gift from Smith's father.
The breakfast nook's table has a vintage Henredon base from the 1970s. The armchairs are from Shaun Smith Home and the malachite china was handed down from Smith's grandmother.
