Bayou St. John may not have the bright blue waters of the Aegean, but there's a mini Odyssey of activity on its banks at the Hellenic Cultural Center over the Memorial Day weekend. The 36th annual Greek Festival features Greek music, food and dancing, a climbing wall, a 5K run/walk, a marketplace, kids' activities, cathedral tours and more. Tickets $5, free for children under 12.
