Green Serene opens
Joining a string of new green business openings on the Magazine Street corridor is Green Serene (2041 Magazine St., 252-9861; www.greenserene.biz), an "eco-lifestyle boutique" selling only 100 percent organic cotton, bamboo and soy products, goods made from recycled materials and Fair Trade and natural health products. Owner Jamie Menutis selects green designer labels for men, women and children, as well as cosmetics and home accessories.
