Hill Remembered

Zeitgeist Multi-Disciplinary Arts Center (1618 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.; www.zeitgeistinc.com) previews scenes from The Florestine Collection, the last film by animator Helen Hill, who was murdered in January 2007. Screenings are at 3 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Saturday, May 8. The fundraiser also includes work by other local filmmakers, music by The New Dopey Singers, a reading by Cheryl Wagner (Plenty Enough Suck to Go Around) and other performances. Proceeds go toward completion of the film and creating 16mm master prints. Admission is by donation.
