How often should I get a mammogram?
The American Cancer Society recommends that women in their 40s get a mammogram every 1-2 years. Women in their 20s and 30s should receive a clinical breast exam every three years.
Depending on a woman’s family and medical history or other factors, her doctor may recommend she have an additional test before the age of 40.
