[iamge-1]The Tipitina's Foundation's annual fundraiser to provide instruments to local schools starts with a battle of the marching bands, including St. Augustine's Marching 100, McDonogh 35 and O. Perry Walker high schools and the Roots of Music. The concert lineup features Galactic (pictured), Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews and Orleans Avenue, Big Sam's Funky Nation, the Rebirth and Soul Rebels brass bands, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Anders Osborne, Rockin' Dopsie and Donald Harrison and the TIP Interns. Tickets $40, VIP tickets $125.
