Before Seattle's Fleet Foxes convinced the rock cognoscenti that Crosby, Stills and Nash harmonies were the new black, singer/songwriter Tillman — the midrange vocalist and meticulous arranger of the Foxes' five-piece choir — was plying his Iron and Wine trade through a regular stream of elegantly skeletal solo albums. He's issued two in 2009: Vacilando Territory Blues and Year in the Kingdom (both on Western Vinyl). Pearly Gate Music opens. Tickets $10.
