Renowned tenor saxophonist and MacArthur grant-winner Ken Vandermark (pictured, right) is known for challenging improvisational music and exploring contemporary European avant-garde approaches, resisting fixed notions of jazz and genre. He's on tour with Dutch reedist Ab Baars (left) and his trio, including bassist Wilbert de Joode and drummer Martin van Duynhoven. Tickets $12, $10 students.
