Kurt Rosenwinkel Group
Guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel is a rising star in the jazz world who shuttles back and forth between Berlin and New York, where he spent six years working with Q-Tip on his release The Renaissance. After four albums on the Verve label, Rosenwinkel put out his critically acclaimed album The Remedy — Live at the Village Vanguard on ArtistShare this year. For this free concert — supported by the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz at Loyola University — Rosenwinkel is joined by pianist Kevin Hayes, bassist Ben Street and drummer Ali Jackson.
