It's easy to lose Lady Gaga's music in her everything else: the sex (rampant androgyny, rumors of hermaphroditism); the fashion (rubber tracksuits, reflective bras); the unprecedented spectacle (gushing stage blood and a dredging of baby powder as award-show accessories). Stefani Germanotta's incomparable style — think Karen O if she ate Madonna and Cher — sprouted from performances with burlesque queen Lady Starlight on Manhattan's Lower East Side, but her pop-culture monopoly has its roots in the inflatable glam/dance hooks she crafted as a 21-year-old ghostwriter for Interscope Records. They fully matured with the stuttering, ubiquitous "Poker Face," impressively providing both her and cover artist Weezer with their finest moments in the past year. Gaga's streak of consecutive Top 10 singles, now at five and counting with current club smash "Bad Romance," spans two albums: 2008 debut Fame and November's tack-on EP The Fame Monster. The Brooklyn rock group Semi Precious Weapons opens. (Breakout Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi has dropped off the "Monster Ball" tour after an altercation with a fan in Vancouver.) Tickets $35-$45. — Noah Bonaparte Pais
