Built in the early 1700s and boasting it is the oldest bar in the United States, Lafitte’s is frequented by ghost tours, pirate lovers and neighborhood regulars. Legend has it that in the early 19th century, pirate Jean Lafitte and his brother Pierre used the bar to fence their ill-gotten goods. Today it houses a piano bar and offers a full bar and a patio.
