Wed. Feb. 19 | Dr. Dog graduated from the club to the stadium on the band's last trip through New Orleans, opening for the Lumineers at the Lakefront Arena. The former Park the Van standout, which jumped to Anti- Records with 2010's Shame, Shame, released its third album for the label, B-Room, in October. Saint Rich opens at 9 p.m. at the Civic Theatre.
Wed. Feb. 19 | Austin, Texas, garage-rockers White Denim opened for Wilco on its 2012 tour, and Jeff Tweedy returned the favor in 2013, producing and mixing the liquid-blues grooves on Corsicana Lemonade (Downtown). The Districts open at 10 p.m. at One Eyed Jacks.

Wed. Feb. 19 | Hometown hero Hurray for the Riff Raff opens for the South Carolina husband-and-wife country-folk duo — named emerging artist of the year at the 2013 Americana Music Honors and Awards. The band's 2012 album O' Be Joyful (Dualtone) features the storytelling standout "Birmingham." At 8 p.m. at Tipitina's.
Lee Bains III & the Glory Fires (Cancelled)
Thu. Feb. 20 | Consider Lee Bains the revved up garage-rock id of fellow Alabama songwriter Jason Isbell. Bains released There Is a Bomb in Gilead in 2012 and he'll make his Sub Pop Records debut later this year. New Orleans' Texas Funeral opens at 10 p.m. at Siberia.
Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings
Sat. Feb. 22 | One-woman soul machine Sharon Jones announced her bile duct and pancreatic cancer diagnoses in June 2013. Less than a year later, Jones and her band released January's Give the People What They Want, followed by a world tour. At 9 p.m. at the House of Blues.
