Little Dragon
June 10 | Yukimi Nagano's breathless vocals lend seductive appeal to the Swedish electronic band's sometimes skittering, sometimes propulsive beats, as evidenced on May release Nabuma Rubberband. Lawrence Rothman opens at 10 p.m. at Republic.

Allah-Las
Tue. June 10 | Born out of the dusty crates at Los Angeles' Amoeba Music (where three of the members worked), Allah-Las borrow equally from druggy Nuggets garage rock and the refracted sunlight of California guitar pop. Its latest release is the 7-inch Had It All. Native America and Summer open at 10 p.m. at One Eyed Jacks.

Summer Bummer Fest
Wed. June 11 | The annual "festival" features Designer — noisy, radio-static dance-punk from Boston — and New York's sleepy garage rockers Palberta. New Orleans punks All People, fresh from a Brazilian tour, and Woozy also perform. 7 p.m. at Hey! Cafe.

Caddywhompus
Sat. June 14 | Dialing back the noise in favor of knotty time signatures and delicate melodies, Caddywhompus peeled back yet another fascinating layer on its Maze Demos, an ephemeral, limited-edition 2012 cassette release that lives on as an online download. Zorch, Whom Do You Work For? and Two Knights open at Gasa Gasa.

MxPx and Allister
Sun. June 15 | Longtime Washington statepunk trio MxPx — clocking in with more than 20 years of its tender, Left Coast-influenced pop-punk — released its ninth studio LP Plans Within Plans in 2012 and is hitting the road with Chicago punk outfit and Drive-Thru Records alums Allister. Stereohype and Measure for Measure open at 7 p.m. at One Eyed Jacks.

Scott Biram
Sun. June 15 | Described as a "scumbag Leonard Cohen" by Shooter Jennings, Texan Scott Biram howls and plays metal- and psychobilly-tinged gritty old blues. He released Nothin' But Blood (Bloodshot) in February. Austin Lucas opens at 10 p.m. at Siberia.
