The Spring Quartet
Thu. Feb. 6 | The all-star quartet features legendary drummer Jack DeJohnette, bassist Esperanza Spalding, saxophonist Joe Lovano and pianist Leo Genovese. Trumpeter Christian Scott and his sextet open at 8 p.m. at the Civic Theatre.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Fri.-Sun. Feb. 7-23 | Two productions of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof open Friday. Tommye Myrick directs a production (starring WDSU's Damon Singleton as Brick and Gail Glapion as Big Mama) at Anthony Bean Community Theater. Michael Martin directs another production at Fuhrmann Auditorium in Covington.

Mink Stole
Fri.-Sat. Feb. 7-8 | Nancy Stoll, better known as Mink Stole, starred in John Waters' best known films, including Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble and Hairspray. She recently released her first album, Do Re MiNK. She's joined by Harry Mayronne for a cabaret performance at 8 p.m. at AllWays Lounge & Theatre.
