The bands of legendary South African drummer Louis Moholo-Moholo could form their own music festival: Blue Notes, Brotherhood of Breath, Viva La Black, Dedication Orchestra, Assagai, Isipingo. Fleeing apartheid in the mid-1960s, Moholo emigrated to London and brought Township Jive swing to British free jazz. Dallas trumpeter Dennis Gonzalez's Yells at Eels and local saxman Tim Green complete the group. Tickets $10.
