The Little Jewel of New Orleans opens in Los Angeles’ Chinatown

The store will use Leidenheimer bread for po-boys (stuffed with fried shrimp, oysters and cochon de lait) and Blue Plate mayonnaise, but meats including boudin and tasso will be made in-house. He'll make cochon de lait in the smoker used by the previous tenant, Hoy King, to smoke ducks.
