A failed poet and tax collector, Miguel de Cervantes finds himself in jail on the eve of the Spanish Inquisition — he tried to foreclose on a monastery. The musical opens the season for Tulane's Summer Lyric Theatre. Tickets $28-$37. 8 p.m. Thu.-Sat., 2 p.m. Sun. Tulane University, Dixon Hall, 865-5269; http://summerlyric.tulane.edu
