Michael Moore

Oscar-winning filmmaker and right-wing lightning rod Michael Moore comes to the Hi-Ho Lounge (2239 St. Claude Ave., 945-4446) at 10 p.m. Thursday, July 2, for an intimate evening of outraged political rhetoric. ... No, that doesn't sound right to us, either. This Michael Moore is the American expat, Netherlands resident and three-decade Euro jazz vet whose avant-garde saxophone and clarinet will be complemented by locals Helen Gillet on cello, Jonathan Freilich on guitar and Doug Garrison on drums. Have some fun and don't tell the protestors. Tickets $10.
