Boucherie, the Riverbend restaurant showcasing Chef Nathanial Zimet's contemporary Southern cuisine, reopened at its new location (1506 S. Carrollton Ave., 504-862-5514; www.boucherie-nola.com) Feb. 19. The menu remains the same, but the new space is bright and breezy, with exposed brick and a reclaimed-wood bar anchoring the back of the restaurant.
Zimet expects to open Bourre as soon as this week in the former Boucherie space (8115 Jeannette St.). It will focus on chicken wings and daiquiris, but a full menu has not been released. Sample wing dishes have appeared on the Boucherie menu for months, including lemon grass sticky wings and smoked jerked wings served with pickled heirloom carrots.
