New Faces, New Titles

Our first post-Katrina Jazz Fest issue marks a couple of subtle but important changes at Gambit Weekly. First, we're proud to announce the promotion of Arts & Entertainment Editor David Lee Simmons to managing editor, in which he will continue to oversee the editorial process while working with Editor Clancy DuBos on the overall editorial content of the paper. Also, we're excited to bring on frequent contributor Alison Fensterstock as our regular freelance music columnist. Fensterstock will continue to write on a wide range of subjects, but her focus will be on music, as you'll find her prose are all over this issue. Welcome aboard!
