Loyola and Tulane universities have partnered with WeCar and Enterprise Rent-A-Car to offer a car-sharing program to students, faculty and staff from both universities. WeCar will provide three Toyota Priuses, the car company's flagship hybrid vehicle, that will be available 24 hours a day, can be reserved online and rented hourly or for a full day. Members of the university community ages 18 or older can participate.
Enterprise launched WeCar in 2008 to provide its rental opportunity on school, business and government campuses. Its fleet consists mostly of hybrid-fuelel or plug-in electric vehicles. Visit www.wecar.com for more information.
