Number's Up!

When John Leo headed to Juneau, Alaska, seven years ago, it wasn't to escape society or pit himself against the wilds of untamed nature. He was following a woman (not pictured). As a professional clown and actor, however, he was roughing it. Over the years, he has won over the 30,000 citizens of Juneau through two open-mic nights he hosts " one adult and one all-ages. Now he's putting himself to the test on the road, doing his one-man show (with some audience participation) at Fringe festivals, theaters and alternative art spaces. This is the adult show and features the physical comedy and burlesque (not the tassel-twirling variety) of street performers and vaudeville. Tickets $4-$8 sliding scale. " Will Coviello 8 p.m. Sat.-Sun., Sept. 29-30
