Phunny Phorty Phellows

The Phunny Phorty Phellows get Carnival rolling with the annual Twelfth Night streetcar parade. The costumed krewe gathers at 6:30 p.m. at the Canal Car Barn near Warren Easton High School. In honor of Zulu's centennial, King and Queen Zulu Tyrone and Sheila Mathieu and Zulu President Charles E. Hamilton Jr. will cut the ribbon to kick off the parade, which heads downtown, turns up St. Charles Avenue to Napoleon Avenue and returns. Free.
