Ernst Cafe hosts Bacchus Bash at Generations Hall, an all-day annual block party on Sunday Gras before Bacchus hits the parade route. The outdoor party is free and open to the public and features live music from New Orleans funk outfit Flow Tribe (pictured), which recently released the live album At Capacity, recorded at Tipitina's last fall. Local cover outfits The Top Cats and Category 6 also perform. The VIP party inside Generations Hall includes access to grandstand parade viewing, DJs, private bathrooms, free food and an open bar. VIP admission is $100; outdoor party is free.
