The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation's Crescent City Blues & BBQ Festival presents three days of music, food and crafts in Lafayette Square. Headliners include Keb Mo (pictured), Chris Thomas King, Ironing Board Sam, Little Freddie King, Miss Lavelle White and others. Reaching beyond the blues, the lineup also includes soul and R&B singers Clarence Carter and Latimore, folk and blues troubadour Spencer Bohren and R&B big band The Bo-Keys with Otis Clay. The Oral History stage will host interviews with White, Bohren, Ernie Vincent and Li'l Buck Sinegal, the blues and R&B guitarist who played in Clifton Chenier's zydeco band. Food vendors include local barbecue restaurants (The Joint, Squeal Bar-B-Q, Whole Hog Cafe) as well as longtime Jazz Fest vendor Vaucresson's Sausage Company, Boswell's Jamaican Grill and sweets from La Divina Gelateria and Bittersweet Confections. Abita Brewing Company is providing a sports bar with large-screen TVs, and there's a craft market as well. Visit the website for schedule and details. Free admission. — WILL COVIELLO
