"Congratulations to our players for having the suspensions vacated. Unfortunately, there are some things that can never be taken back." — New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees on Dec. 11, shortly after former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue vacated the suspensions of the four present and former Saints players accused of participating in the bounty program. Tagliabue cleared only one player of conduct detrimental to the league: Scott Fujita, now of the Cleveland Browns.
