Sextet

Dancer and choreographer Eddy Villalta and his company D'Project present the multimedia production Sextet. The avant-garde show is about relationships as people progress through life's stages, touching on questions of sexual identity, loneliness, vulnerability and personal crisis. The show combines contemporary movement, theater, music and video projections. The cast comes from a monthlong dance workshop by D'Project. Villalta is an eight-year New Orleans resident by way of Costa Rica. He has more than two decades of experience in modern and classical dance as a dancer and choreographer in Costa Rica, throughout Latin and South America and in local troupes. Sextet originally debuted in Kansas City. Tickets $18 general admission, $15 CAC members/students/seniors. -- Lauren LaBorde
