Shawn Ryan
Locals may remember Shawn Ryan from the musical revue tribute to New Orleans' infamous My-O-My club, in which he played cross-dressing star Danni Lamoine. But the rest of the country had the chance to catch him more recently on NBC's competitive search program America's Got Talent. The cabaret singer is back at Le Chat for three shows, doing a mix of jazz and popular tunes accompanied by Kelly Park and his trio. These shows are part of a national tour following the release of his third album, Blue Skies (LML Music). The Thursday night performance is a benefit for the Mystic Krewe of Satyricon (call 525-2298 for tickets to that performance only). Tickets $26 (includes $5 bar credit). -- Will Coviello
