New Orleans Baby Fest is Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pontchartrain Center (4545 Williams Blvd., Kenner, 465-9985; www.pontchartraincenter.com). The event features 75 exhibitors, plus games, giveaways, contests and swag bags for the first 50 attendees. Admission is $5; children 12 and under are free.
