Cold Stone Creamery opened a new store at 624 S. Carrollton Ave. (218-8900; www.coldstonecreamery.com) last week next to the now-closed Camellia Grill. Owner John Haspel says the shop offers more than a dozen flavors of ice cream and sorbet or you can have them custom-mix your favorite flavors or "extras" on the spot. The store also sells ice cream cakes, smoothies and shakes.
